Vermont Goes to National History Day 2011!

35 students represented Vermont at National History Day at the University of Maryland, College Park. After months of research, writing, editing, and creating, the students presented their papers, documentaries, exhibits, performances and web sites to the judges. Over 2,700 students from around the US and the world participated.

Having Fun in Washington, DC!

While at National History Day, the Vermont students, teachers and parents had the chance to visit the sites, monuments and museums in Washington, DC. That's a lot of walking around!

Many of the groups went to the National Zoo to see the pandas and other amazing animals.
